Thankful

Well, another year is in the books. The big 28. I am really not a person that reflects that often, although I probably should! As I look back on this year, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the following:
1. All of the things that have come out of my mouth that have embarrassed my sweet husband.
2. Tailgaiting all of the slow drivers on F.M. 740 each morning as I race to work.
3. Cussing when I am mad or if it warrants it in a story I am retelling.
4. Telling Dr. Stark that I would lose weight and lower my cholesterol 6 months ago.
5. Not always being the best mom and finishing Jackson's baby book, or scrapbooking, or even blogging enough so that I can capture memories for my family to look at one day.

For those of you that know me, there are, of course, more serious things that I should apologize for, but only Jesus is great enough to hear those! And, I don't like being serious on my blog!

As I sit here tonight, though, the word that comes straight into my head about last year is...thankful.

Another year with my man
Every minute of wonder and amazement watching my little man
Laughing with old and new friends
Hugs from family
A sweet class and sweet parents
Friends reruns
Sleeping in occassionally
Feeling guided and loved by my Lord

Thank you for another year, Lord.
Amen

That was almost serious but what a blessed year you have had! It's easy to feel guilty about the lack of time we all wish we had as a wife and mother! We are trying!

Thanks for always being so real. Life may not always be perfect but you are always you and not ashamed of it, never apologize for it! Love you big :)
