Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City is an amusement park with an old-timey element that makes it a lot of fun. Mixed in with the rides are blacksmiths, glass makers, skillet-fried food, and lots of little women wearing outfits from the 1800's! We had 2 day passes, so on Monday everyone went to the park and we did a lot of things for Jackson in kiddie land, ate and watched men blow glass and make baskets, looked at the animals, and had a family day. On Wednesday, Grandma stayed home and rested with Jackson and the adults went back for some grown-up fun! And, of course, more eating...Tommy and I loved the funnel cakes!

Me making fun of Grandma and her dentures!

Tommy, Lyndsey and I rode the Barn Swing (I am way too old for this stuff now!)

Hot, sweaty, wet from water rides, and sick to our stomachs...what a great day!
