Shopping in Fredericksburg

We went to Fredericksburg one day and did some shopping and exploring...Here is Jackson all dressed up in his Rock N' Roll shirt to go shopping...he even let daddy give him Rock N' Roll hair!

The town is so cute and has so many shops that you need more than one day to see it all! Jackson's favorite store was the Christmas Store, which he called the North Pole...This boy and Christmas!

After lunch at a little diner, we headed to a pioneer village...Tommy kept saying, "Jackson, this is the house Grandma used to live in." "Jackson, this is the stove Grandma used when she lived here." Here is Jackson with Nana and Papa on the rocking chairs.

Our family

Jackson and Mommy

An old swing and baby stroller...Jackson kept wanting to go "swingin'"

Daddy pretending to use the outhouse...see...he is more like me than everyone thinks!

Jackson cooking on the stove

A quilt-making contraption

All of us, except my sister...she stayed at home on this day with a hurt back

Jackson and Daddy on a carriage...I am surprised Tommy didn't try to take it out for a spin :)

Nana and Jackson in an old schoolhouse

Jackson is ringing the bell for school to start

Jackson sure did keep up with us, and even leave us at times! This boy didn't go to bed until around 11:00 every night, and mostly got quick naps in the car here and there...we got to see the extent of his energy!

Fredericksburg is known for their peaches, so we got a homemade peach pie to take home with us from a little bakery before we left! Tommy and I definitely need to go back there to one of the bed and breakfasts....this town was very sweet!
