We decided at the last minute to go to Graceland this year....Grandma and Willie had both decided to skip this year because of various reasons, but then Grandma happened to see a concert that was going to be there, so like the groupies we are...we decided to go for a few days.
Here is Grandma and I at the candlelight vigil...I can't believe after this many years the number of people who come...it is silent, except for soft Elvis music playing out over the streets..they close the entire area and streets surrounding Graceland to fit all of the people.

Here is our hotel in downtown Memphis...we had a view of the Mississippi River and the M bridge from our windows..Also, we walked outside and could get on the trolley to anywhere we wanted to go! And believe me...these girls keep me out late, so it was good to ride the trolley and get out right at our hotel!

Tommy and I riding the horse-drawn carriage in downtown...Grandma thought the trolley was taking too long and we would be late to the concert, so we paid to have this horse gallop us there!

So fun!! It's been a year since we took the girls to Graceland and Fallon is still bothered that we couldn't go upstairs to see Elvis' room.
