The Gaylord

We are so thankful that Tommy was able to take off the whole week of Christmas! We did so many fun things together as a family, but our stay at the Gaylord was truly amazing. It was a Winter Wonderland!

Our view from the balcony of our room was facing into the atrium of the hotel
Daddy got Jackson a giant cookie at the Gingerbread House

Seriously, Winter Wonderland

Jackson loved this Santa in a cowboy hat

After going to the Ice Show, we watched the Grinch on a big screen and drank hot chocolate

Jackson is showing Grandma the show on the screen. We were so happy that my Grandma decided to come with us...she had the best time of all, I think.

Here is the Nativity Scene at the end of the Ice Show. Over loud speakers they are reciting the scripture from Luke about Christ's birth while you take in the view of the beautiful artistry and detail of the Nativity scene done in ice.

Tommy and Jackson going into the ice peppermint tunnel

Jackson and I by the Grinch in ice...can you tell by my face how happy I am?

Jackson and Daddy...look at those cute red, cold cheeks!

Jackson and I on the sleigh...here is a quote from Jackson, "I want a sleigh for Tristmas, Mommy!"

Jackson hugging the penguins

His favorite...the train! He kept saying, "All Aboard!"

There was a riverwalk, a million lights and decorations, huge trains traveling through mountains...let me say again, wonderland!

This is a train on a guitar

My excited baby

He saw this Longhorn and went nuts! He said, "Loot Mama, it's Bevo!" What a Texas fan!

He could have watched these trains for hours!

You could see the top of the Gingerbread House from our room. Jackson and I spent a lot of time on the balcony looking at the view. Tommy ordered Jackson and Grandma room service and they ate while watching the Polar Express. Tommy and I went to dinner at Texas Station and watched a little bit of Monday night football on the big screen. We went back to the room and got in our pj's and joined Jackson and Grandma. We stayed up late talking and being together. What a great two days!

How beautiful! I have only been there once at Christmas and it was before kids. If your little man enjoyed this then It looks to me like he is ready for Disney!
